What You Can Customize
Onboarding Workflow
Token of Trust adjusts the signup and onboarding experience based on who you are and what platform you’re using.
Here’s how it works:
- Quick Account Creation
Enter your email and website URL — if you’re on a supported platform like Shopify or WordPress, setup steps are tailored automatically. - Role & Region Context
Choose your role (e.g., “building a website” or “running a business”) and your company’s country — we’ll use this to recommend relevant flows and age thresholds. - Optional Phone Number
You can add a phone number with country code — especially useful if you’re in a regulated industry or want to test SMS capture. - Smart Routing
Based on your input, you’ll either jump into Token of Trust HQ or be guided through integration steps for your platform.
While these onboarding steps are built-in and adaptive, visual elements like branding, language, and flow logic can also be customized. See below.
Visual Elements You Can Customize
1. Visual Branding
Make your verification flow look and feel like your brand.
What’s customizable:
- Logo placement on onboarding and verification screens
- Brand colors applied to buttons and accents
- Vendor name override (e.g., “Verified by [Your Brand]”)
To enable:
Email success@tokenoftrust.com with your logo file and color preferences.
DIY Branding Setup
Admins can customize your workspace look and feel directly within Org Settings. This includes uploading your own logo and setting accent colors to align with your brand.
Note: This is a self-service feature available to HQ Admins.
2. Language & Localization
Support customers in their preferred language with built-in localization.
Languages supported:
- English
- Spanish
- French
- Slovak
- Dutch
- Italian
- German
To set your language:
Token of Trust automatically detects and applies the appropriate language for verification emails and screens based on the user’s browser settings — no manual setup required.
Note: The Token of Trust HQ admin dashboard remains English-only.
3. Progress Indicators
Let users know where they are in the process.
Progress markers are automatically included in most verification flows, improving clarity and reducing abandonment — especially when multiple steps are required (like selfie checks or document uploads).
No setup required.

Token of Trust detects your platform (Shopify, WordPress, WooCommerce, BigCommerce) and adapts the experience accordingly.
